Galaxy Star

Tue Aug 18, 2009, 5:35 PM
3 years after quitting the Bald Space Marine Academy, former captain Ovbius, now with a full head of hair, lazily spends his after noons in front of the television watching game shows and space dramas.
He dreams of a better more exciting life, to be wealthy, to soar among the stars, while not in the restrictions of the academy.

Little does he know, his dreams are soon to come true...

Galaxy Star is an action platformer game being developed for the Stencyl game creation software [link] . It's focused on exploration and ranged attacks. The player will travel through 10 different zones in a mega-man like fashion, there is no set path.

The goal of the game is to be as rich as possible after each stage is completed. The game will *end when all the bosses in each zone have been destroyed, however zones will not close after completion, they will remain open so any missed adjectives can be accomplished.

*The game won't end completely, DLC is plain for the future.

When a boss is killed and the zone is "complete" players will be judged on how long it took them to finish, how many times they died in the staged, how many enemies they destroyed, and the percentage of hidden items collected.

Playable Zones--

These are the "levels" in Galaxy star, like said above there is no path to completing them except for Central Connection City (CCC) or Shpace. The first is the hub world were things are bought and the player can rest, the other is the traveling hub where to fly to the planets that contain the zones.

Central Connection City--
Planet: Marizonis
Inhabitants: Robot, Organic, Cyborg

Info: Central Connection City is the main space port of the Jugo de uva galaxy. A must visit for vacationers!

Shpace--
Shapce or Outer Shpace is the traveling hub in which you fly your ship to and from planets. Beware, dangers and mysteries lurk in the deeps, stay close to the port lines to stay safe.

Astro Asteroid Alley--
Planet: ??????
Inhabitants: ??????

Info: ??????

Frozen Furn Forest--
Planet: Frazena
Inhabitants: Organics

Info: Frazena was once a lush and beautiful tropical planet, stuffed full of all kinds of life, that is until a large star ship crashed into the planet. The ship pushed Frazena 1 mile, 3 feet, 3 inches and 7 centimeters out of its original orbit, and the entire thing froze over.

Sadly the Orben Historical Society didn't deem Frazena to have any historical significance, and after a week of news coverage nobody cared about the planet anymore....except for the Space Hippies.

Izotomic Industries Incorporated--
Planet: Slagmi
Inhabitants: Robots, Irradiated Workers

Info:
Izotmic Industries Inc. was a large company, that in it's heyday was rivaling even Winzenhimer Productions, but do to a very low safety record and consent protest from UP (Universe Peace) III has shrunk into a small fishing company off the coast of , still under protest by UP. Through out Slagmi lays storage facilities and factories populated by rogue robots and mutated workers, and the rumor of a lost untouched bank vault.

Dusty Desert Downs--
Planet: ??????
Inhabitants: ??????

Info: ??????

Molten Magma Mountain--
Planet: Magnizia
Inhabitants: Life? Here?

Info: Stuck between a searing red sun and the gravitational pressers from the planet it orbits, calling the moon Magnizia hot is a strong understatement. its even surprising that there's even enough solid ground to land on.
